In this module participants will be introduced to the purpose, process and results of a program review. It is important for all faculty to understand whether program reviews are required by law or just a policy of your institutions. Components of a program review will be discussed along with explanations as to why each component is important in the review. This is a self-paced course where you will review 14 pages instructing you how to write an effective program review. The course starts by explaining the purpose and frequency of program reviews. The course continues by taking the user through common parts of the process, though they do vary between institutions, and providing more details about the common steps involved. The course contains articles and activities to assist in your understanding of the topic. The outcomes from this course are that you should understand the purpose of program reviews, the process behind writing them, and the results of self-study review.
