National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a public private partnership and established as a not for profit company u/s 25 of the Companies Act 1956 with the object of developing skill training, productive workforce making them employable. NSDC is the implementing agency of the largest skill development project in India on behalf of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
NSDC is also the fund manager of National Skill Development Fund (NSDF).
Our vision is to create an ecosystem of empowerment by skilling on a large scale at speed with high standards and to promote a culture of innovation based entrepreneurship which can generate wealth and employment so as to ensure a Sustainable Livelihoods for all citizens in the Country.
NSDC has trained more than 2 crore people with its stakeholders through various initiatives.
