In this module participants will discuss project based and problem-based learning. The content will introduce the 4 key guidelines in developing project badge and problem-based learning assignments in a course. This is a self-paced course where you will review 10 pages describing how to incorporate problem- and project-based learning in the classroom. The course contains pages describing how project-based learning can be used to foster student growth and help people collaborate effectively. After 2 videos to assist in your understanding, the course discusses some guidelines that can help make sure project-based learning is effective within your courses, along with some help with problems that may come up. The course contains videos, articles and activities to assist in your understanding of the topic. The outcomes from this course are that you should now understand what problem-based learning is, and the components of project-based learning.
