Students will graph solutions to linear equations on a plane and develop equations from points and slope. Beginning Algebra Module 2: Linear Equations I includes: Pre-Assessment, Introduction: Linear Equations I, Section 1: The Rectangular Coordinate system, Section 2: Graphs of Straight Lines, Section 3: Slope, Section 4: Forms of Linear Equations, Post-Assessment. This course starts with the basics of rectangular coordinate systems and how these are related to axes. This course then goes into graphs of straight lines and how these can be represented with linear equations. Next, the course covers slopes and rates of change. Finally, the course covers the different forms of linear equations and how to convert between them.
