In this module participants will be introduced to tools to help foster student learning. Topics include encouraging student self-responsibility towards their learning, encouraging active learning, creation of logical grading systems, and ensuring student success with effective feedback. This is a self-paced course where you will review 6 sections about connecting learning objectives and competencies to grades. The course then goes through how instructors can encourage students to provide an active role in their own education, Bloom’s pyramid of learning, and how the grades and learning criteria can help ensure success through feedback to the students.
