This course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of fundamentals of wireless communications. It starts by introducing theoretical concepts with mathematical formulations and then gradually transitions towards a simulation based study.

Description

In this course, students will be exposed to a lot of readymade simulation material that they can run on their own and can further develop the simulations into advanced projects. Typically, only the fundamentals along with a few text-book problems are covered in college. Some of these problems are tailored to train students over certain industrial applications that are currently outdated. Although, it is useful to understand the legacy and evolution, the industry is rapidly evolving. This course, however, builds the gap between fundamentals, legacy applications and current generation’s methodologies from an industrial application perspective.
