CAE Simulation using SolidWorks is a 2 month long course elaborating on the importance and applications of CAE and how it is implemented in the Solidworks environment.

Description

Computer Aided Engineering(CAE) is an integral part in bringing durable and quality products to reality. Lots of analysis are done for a product before releasing it in the market, such that the customers use durable products. Being proficient in CAE tools is very beneficial for individuals as the job market always demands skilled CAE engineers and it is a career having a wide range of opportunities.  This course provides an introduction to the concepts of Finite Element Analysis, and the various FEA tools in SOLIDWORKS.  Over the course of 4 weeks, you will be introduced to FEA simulations using linear and non-linear simulations, Basic mesh types and 1D, 2D, and 3D analysis. This course uses a hands-on approach to demonstrate the various FEA tools in SOLIDWORKS. Moreover, you will also learn about the inbuilt FEA simulation add-ons in SOLIDWORKS. Students who have completed at least three semesters in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Automotive Engineering can register for this course.
